As part of our International Dot Day Celebration, BMS made its mark on the world by swapping student-made trading cards with a school in Houma, LA. We sent our cards off last Thursday and are anxiously awaiting the cards sent from Houma. Salem, MassachusettsThis morning about 30 of our 8th graders participated in a mystery Skype with a K-8 school in Salem, Massachusetts. The students played 20 Questions to try to guess the location of the other school. With atlases in hand at both locations, the students asked awesome questions like "Was your state one of the original thirteen colonies?" and "Are you in the Central Time Zone?" After successfully determining locations, the students shared the dots they made and how they intended to make their mark on the world. So proud of our Bulldogs!
