Student work took center stage at the Student Showcase on Thursday. The BMS band and choir offered music and song while families visited math, science, language arts, social studies, and STEM stations.
8th grade students in Ms. Bagwell's and Mrs. Lonsberry's classes participated in a two-day book tasting in the library this week. In addition to sampling a selection of books that explore the themes of courage in the face of persecution, man's inhumanity to man, and resilience and perseverance, the students made connections to a picture book allegory of the Holocaust and videos related to conflicts in Bosnia, Rwanda, and other parts of the world.

5:00-6:30 PM BMS Cafeteria Bring the family for a fun evening showcasing student learning at BMS. On March 27th the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Kerrville to compete in their District track meet. Due to weather we were only able to complete the running events that evening. Even though the conditions were terrible the girls gave their best efforts in each of their races. Because of the weather on 3/27 we traveled back to Kerrville on April 6th to complete the field events portion of the meet. The girls again gave great effort and competed well in each of their individual events. The results from the whole meet are listed below.
