Sixth graders in Miss Smallwood's science class learned how turbines work and how to improve energy input. A random conversation in advisory this week has led to the creation of Brick Studios. Several sixth and seventh grade students are in the process of creating stop motion videos using the Lego Movie app on the iPads. The conference rooms in the library are buzzing with building, photographing, and creating before school, during advisory, and at lunch. Stop by to see the production in action. Lego movies coming soon.
Inspired by the main character in Always, Abigail, eight BMS students shared their love of books by reading to the Alkek kindergarten classes. A big Bulldog thank you to Mrs. McLerran, Mrs. Reichert, Mrs. Lopez, and Mrs. Nowell making time for BMS and Alkek students to share stories.
