Twenty 8th graders may attend. Applications will be available in January. Thank you, Ms. Ayers of the Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District, for a great two-day workshop to build and test riparian systems. Students worked in groups to plan and construct a riparian system to best control flood waters to keep trash out of a river. See a video HERE. The next Science in Action program will be in March. Morgen Ayers of the Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District will be in the BMS Library during advisory on November 30 and December 1 to lead up to twenty students in building riparian systems.
