Thirty-one BMS students visited the Interactive Technology Experience Center at UTSA on Friday before Spring Break. The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students learned about different fields of engineering, put their creative problem-solving skills to work by turning a stack of newspapers and packing tape into functional chairs, and interacted with the latest technology in the Viz Lab. Students wearing 3D glasses even practiced operating on a digitally simulated tooth. Pretty cool stuff! |
