What's a girl to do when she has too many library books to fit in her binder? Sew a book bag, of course! It was a fun Tinker Tuesday project for a couple of sixth grade girls. Thanks, Ms. Irene, for the awesome gift of a sewing machine.
Your attendance matters, and Mr. Heiner is a happy camper! We achieved 97.2% attendance for the 1st 6weeks. That is .25% higher than last year and the highest 1st 6weeks in the last 5 years. We have 289 student that qualified for perfect attendance at this time. That's amazing. Keep up the good work, Bulldogs, and enjoy our perfect attendance celebration on Friday.

Sign up for Tinker Tuesday on the library website. You must be signed into your Google account to complete the form. Book Fair is coming in a little more than a month. If you want to pre-order a copy of the newest Diary of a Wimpy Kid, bring $9.73 to the library by 10/31/15, and your book will arrive on November 9, 2015. This past Saturday the Lady Bulldogs hosted the 'A' team tournament.
7th grade competing in 3 matches defeating Comfort with a score of 25-15; 25-15. 2nd Match was against Cole, defeating them as well with a score of 25-11-25-10... final match of the day to determine the Champion and the Lady Bulldogs came out on top defeating Medina Valley 25-21 & 25-20 to bring home the Championship ! That brings their record 8-0. 8th grade fought a hard game the first match vs Cole going to 3 sets. Winning the first set 25-18 but Cole came back after getting warmed up beating the lady bulldogs in the 2 set with a score of 25-20 taking it to set 3. It was a close game going back and forth but the Lady Bulldogs fell short losing set 3 with a score of 14-16. 2nd match vs Medina Valley wasn't easy, as Medina Valley took it pretty easy 25-14 & 25-9. Lady Bulldogs headed into the 3rd match needing to beat comfort in 2 sets to come out as runners up and they did just that!! Beating Comort 25-18 & 25-21. The Lady Bulldogs end up at 'Runners-up' in the 8th grade A team division Overall the Lady Bulldogs came out to play and did just that. Great job ladies! Keep up the great work and their next game will be Monday, Oct 5th at Fredericksburg. |
