If you heard yelling and cheering coming from the sixth grade hallway the last couple of days, chances are good that the noise was coming from Ms. Smallwood's STEM class. The students were engaged in heavy competition to use their excellent geometry skills to create a maze that would foil their classmates in their attempt to drive a Sphero through it at the fastest speed. The students rose to the challenge! They constructed mazes that contained hidden obstacles intended to slow down the competition. Not only did the students master their geometry terms, but they also mastered the art of collaboration. Well done! Comments are closed.
